David Acres, Counterpoint's founder and conductor, now lives in the USA with his wife, Judith, where they manage our new 'sister' choirs - 

The King's Counterpoint and Cantores Charleston,

based in Charleston, South Carolina, 

Contrapunctus Early Music, based in Cleveland, Ohio, and a small professional ensemble, Vox Regis,

also based in Charleston.

David's solo and choral singing, as well as his coaching and teaching, continues in the US.

 

Counterpoint will continue to be a vital choral ensemble, and future concerts - including some exciting joint ventures with our American counterparts - are scheduled for Summer, 2022!
