David Acres, Counterpoint's founder and conductor, now lives in the USA with his wife, Judith, where they manage our 'sister' choirs - 

The King's Counterpoint , Regis Homines (Men's Ensemble), Cantores Charleston (High Voices Ensemble), and Chamber Ensemble Vox Regis,

based in Charleston, South Carolina, and

Contrapunctus Early Music, based in Cleveland, Ohio.

David's solo and choral singing, as well as his coaching and teaching, continues in the US.

 

Counterpoint will continue to be a vital choral ensemble, and we plan on continuing to schedule future concerts in England and abroad - including some exciting joint ventures with our American counterparts!
